Shop, van and mail-order. Very helpful. AvG can supply cloth, dyes, textile paints, gel mediums, discharge paste, screens, squeegees, chemicals, tools and a huge variety of art and craft materials and items.
Atlantis Art
A huge warehouse of general art supplies. Atlantis have a wide range of affordable pre-stretched canvas and will also make to order. Stockists of Golden Matte Medium (as used for the paper lamination process).

An excellent art supplies store who are happy to mail order. Excellent range of pre-stretched canvas at good prices.

Kemtex Educational Supplies
Bulk/volume supplies, although some items such as dyes are available from 100gm upwards. Dyes, chemicals such as Urea, Soda Ash, Ludigol/Resist Salt L, Manutex RS/Sodium Alginate etc. Kemtex do not sell cloth or tools such as screens.
Patchwork Shop
Based in Germany, this is an excellent outlet. Whilst much of the on-line shop is in German, the pictures are clear and Guenther speaks excellent English – so just email him with your requirements and he’ll sort you out.

Claire Higgott runs this mail-order thermofax service. She will turn your designs into screens ready for you to print finely detailed or textural marks onto cloth or paper. You simply send photocopies or email your artwork and she does the rest. Email Claire for details of screen sizes and prices.
